Social Media Usage in Public Sector

Social Media has acquired considerable attention in both, public and private sectors. Social media is a convenient tool for government agencies to build trust, and engage more citizens in their affairs. Because it can result in transparency, participation, and trust and accessibility to information for the citizens in society (Mahajan-Cusack, 2016).
But social media usage in the public sector may also lead to loss of trust in the government.
⇨ What's your experience and view of social media usage in the public sector and what challenges and issues you have faced?
