				                Personal and Business Ethics

													As Peter Drucker said, "There is no business ethics but only ethics". Business ethics is an off-shoot of personal ethics. But today the problem is who can we adopt as our ideal to develop our personal ethical principles. Almost all those who matter place goals above means and hence opt for those means that yield quick results. This is the reason why even "teaching" ethics at MBA level is not of much use.

				                Ethics the Basic Quality of a Man

													Ethics is nothing but a philosophy which encompasses right conduct and good living. These principles are always needed in normal human intercourse. Business is also a part of human intercourse and it goes without saying that principles of ethics and ethical behavior is a must while indulging in business transaction. You cannot separate your conduct as a business man and normal life. You cannot be ethical in normal life and unethical in your business dealings. The words of Peter Drucker are correct and to the point.
