I must admit that "EI" is still not practiced in organisations.
Some of the reasons being:
a) Lack of skilled "EI" trainers.
b) Rapport between boss and subordinate lacks the desired depth.
c) This skill can exist only when CEO starts using this tool with his deputies & with a clear message that this skill must go down the line till supevisor level.
