What are Accountancy Ethics?
Ethics or moral is used to determine what is right or good.
Ethics include the study of what people ought to pursue, that what is good for people, or alternatively, the determination of which actions are the right actions for people to perform.
The word 'ethics' then refers generally to the study of whatever is right and good for humans.
Ethics of accounting profession is therefore the evaluation of accounting practices. Ethical behavior requires an assessment of whether a decision is right or wrong, given values of society.

	Accountants Have no Ethics Time and time again it is proven that accountants ultimately have no ethics. Even drug cartels have accountants... Because they are paid by their clients, they will do everything they can (as long as it is more or less legal and they can get away with it) to support the client's interests. They will do what's good… for their client. If you keep on believing that accounts behave in an ethical way, one day you will be surprised. And the surprise will not be pleasant.
