Avoid Hasty Decision-making
Life itself is the ultimate school for making decisions. We make them constantly when faced with any situation.
However,
we need not be hasty about making them (although some are required on the spot), we need to deliberate, gather sufficient information on the situation at hand so that your decision can reflect your convictions and beliefs on the subject.

Decide Quickly or Not? It Depends
The degree of deliberation must be driven by the type of decisions we face. We make 10s to 100s of decisions today about what to wear, what order in which to prepare to leave our homes, what path to take to get to work, etc. Making these decisions quickly is important.
There is a class of decisions which managers must be make quickly to keep the organization and stakeholders moving and confident.
I agree there are a smaller set that need to be made very carefully, well informed, and full of reflection.
