Reconcilation of Purpose and Means and their Mobilization

The element of implementation is often not given enough importance resulting in high sounding strategies that do not deliver.
Specific steps tie in with the implementation aspect but does not address larger questions. As Hamel & Prahalad put it, the purpose and the means need to reconcile and therefore resources and their appropriate mobilization to a unique strategic advantage is key to realization of strategic intent. Otherwise it remains a dream on paper or a costly misadventure.
