I believe that each CEO, political leader and anyone in a position of authority should be taught the servant leadership concept. Furthermore, I believe that people may respect another person's position of authority for several reasons, but for one to truly be respected as a person this can only be obtained by true servant leaders, because they are people who respect the people they lead.   Servant-Leaders Would Make Excellent Mentors

  If all managers and CEO could adopt this model of leadership, the workers could not practice loafing (Editor: ~idle one's time away, typically by aimless wandering or loitering) during the working hours. Because all could learn from the boss who could be their mentor.

  There are very few role models regarding servant leadership. The concept of the caring organization has been replaced by care for financial performance. This has become the underlying theme in most businesses.
We need leaders to become a steward of responsible leadership with the goal of empowering and rewarding employees; not stockholders.
