Ethical Emotional Intelligence?

I was wondering how EI impacts on the ethical foundation of individuals and how EI impacts on ethical decision making? Any ideas?

Impact of Emotional Intelligence on Ethical Behavior and Decision-making

Very good but tough question!
Two (of the 4) main domains of EI are: "Self awareness" and "Social awareness". I think that capabilities in these 2 domains are a necessary condition (a MUST) for ethical behavior and ethical decision-making. If a person is not even aware of herself/himself or of others, it will be nearly impossible for her or him to make ethical decisions. Because such decisions typically involve taking into account and reconciling the interests of others versus your own.

Ethical Behavior and EI

@Jaap de Jonge: Agree with you.
If a person goes against their beliefs for the sake of pleasing others, then others will notice that the person is not being genuine - particularly if they have known the person for a long time.
