Interaction Between IQ and EI

IQ and EI can not be separated in our life. They should interact, then you will have a better and more successful life. About that I have no doubt.

The Level of EI and IQ That is Needed

I tend to agree with Genevy Polan's statement that some level of the other "trait" is crucial for human beings to be happy and functioning in an organization or family environment.
Just think of somebody brilliant but she possesses no EI at all.
Or think of somebody with extremely high EI but he really is a complete moron as far as analytical intelligence is concerned.
Both types of persons would probably be unsuccessful in both their business and family life.
By the way, I believe these cases are rare. Contrary to what many people think, persons with a high IQ tend to also have a relatively high EI.
