Implementation of Emotional Intelligence
I agree that an average IQ and high EQ equals success. In considering this post, I believe that relationship management and self management are two critical elements for successful leaders. In analyzing my intelligence, I too rate myself as a person with an average IQ, however, my ability to empathize and understand my weaknesses in the area of self management has been extremely rewarding and the cornerstone of my success. In summary, many of our leaders believe their education from many of the so-called prestigious schools indicates that implementation of emotional intelligence is less than adequate.
