Neural Network In SCM?
Hi, (how) can the concept of Neural Networks be applied in the world of Supply Chain for managing the flow of orders between upstream and downstream systems?

Neural Network in SCM
Hi Venu, the application of neural networld in SCM is not an isolated process, it needs to be done in conjuction with all other elements of the supply chain. Also, applying it in just one area might prove to be counter-productive to the entire chain.

Neural Network in SCM
Dear Venu, to begin with, a Neural Network (NN) is a technique employed to simulate the human brain in order to achieve memory, recall and presentation of data. A NN alone cannot solve a problem.
Yet, the various possible outcomes of a NN can be used in the larger context of the solution for various objectives such as predicting possible bottlenecks or classifying and filtering out fraudulent orders, or to also segregate and group orders based on their overall traits so that they may accurately and effectively be treated as required for each type.
