Globalization and Integration
Ezekiel Eniola, HR Consultant, Gambia, Member
Globalization (G) is a concurrent issue in this age of cultural revivalism. First, what is G and then what is integration?
- GLOBALIZATION is the phenomenon of integrating of the microcosm of societies into a unified system. It is a process of unified system in culture, commerce, information, reformation, reintegration, realignment etc. G is a determinant of integration.
- INTEGRATION is the process of combining the elements of societal visions to form an enclave through shared values in one form or another in a stereotype.

Globalization and Integration

I think the 2 terms both have no universally agreed meaning.
Globalization could be described as a process of interaction and integration among the people, companies, and governments of different nations, a process driven by international trade and investment and lately aided by information technology. This process has effects on the environment, on culture, on political systems, on economic development and prosperity, and on human physical well-being in societies around the world.
