About Information Power
Gena Gibbs, Member
I personally believe that information power is the most influential form of power. All other powers especially legitimate power needs to feed off of information or even expert power in order to sustain itself. Once the information stops flowing, the reward power stops and coercive power takes over because resistance to change increases. Information controls power and its distribution.

Gena, I agree with you. The book 'Freakonomics: A Rogue Economist Explores the Hidden Side of Everything (P.S', by Steven D. Levitt and Stephen J. Dubner, speaks about informational power from an economists standpoint. It is an easy read, but fascinating pose on information power. Everyone should be aware of this information.
