Using the EFQM benchmarking as a basis, how can this assist an organisation's desire for continuous improvement?

I'm working in the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology - Jordan
And we work now on the King Abdullah II Award for Excellence in Government Performance and Transparency case.
In the team of process criteria we need your support regarding how to develop a methodology to prove (evidence) that we used an efficient methodology to simplify and develop the process in our entity to have a continuous improvement.
Please your advice.

You can use Kaizen.

You could also use the balanced scorecard and Deming. "Toyota Kata" (i.e. a way of doing something) by Mike Rother (2010) illustrates how Toyota's system of continuous improvement blends Deming (PDSA) and how to be an adaptive and flexible organization that utilizes people capabilities. You essentially define where you are (current condition) and where you want to be (target condition). They also believe in the leader as teacher. Hope this helps.

Do you mean focus PDCA.

David Wilson, Premium Member
PDSA or PDCA are essntially the same model, where "S" = study, or "C" = check. Please see here. At my age, I am more used to the Deming cycle as PDSA, but PDCA will also do.

PDSA and HEQMA Criteria

I think S stands for standardize, where there are some processes reached the stability and sustainability. The correct cycle acts PDCA and PDSA interchangeable. Also please try The Holistic Egyptian Quality Management Approach: HEQMA, a book reflecting diverse QM tools, in EFQM and BSC amongst others, in the Arab world.
