DCF vs Present Value

Can someone please explain the difference between the Discounted Cash Flow (DCF) and Present Value (PV)?

DCF versus PV

Discounting is the process of deriving the present value of some future cash flows.
Therefore, one is the process/technique (discounting) while the other is the result of applying such technique (present value).
