Emotional Intelligence
By emotional intelligence you can lead your subordinates, you can gain their respect and love. Briefly, you will be able to acheive the difficult formula of having subordinates obeying you while they also are adoring and respecting you.

Emotional Intelligence is Included in Other Habit
For sure emotional intelligence is unavoidable if you what to achieve success in a highly effective way. You can not achive much of your objectives if you are not able to feel emotions around you, to detect what and how people feel about what is going on, and also to detect when your emotions are taking precedence over your reason.
It is why I think that the habit of proactivity, thinking win-win, seeking to understand before being understood are inherent to the development of the necessary emotional intelligence. By practising these habits we will see our level of emotional quotient increase steadily.
