Sounds simple. However can someone explain in more detail what it is besides being close to situational theory and a number of factors.
 

 
Contingency Theory Requirements

Rachel Barker and Goerge Angelopulo in their book Integrated Organisational Communication propose that "contingency theories gives top priority to considerations of the organisational context. The main aim is adapting to its environments". This then requires recognition of organisations as open systems whose information imputs will be recognised according to the prevailing circumstances that include the organisations internal and external factors.
