The biggest advantages in web marketing are: very cost effective, target oriented and the ROI is very high as the response and the analysis can be seen and measured. It also reduces spill over in most of the cases.

One should also take into consideration that if not used properly in an organisation and only as a promotional tool, the use of internet marketing could become a disadvantage. Internet marketing should always be a 2-way street. Connecting with your (potential) customers. If you are not willing or capable to do this, forget it!
