Niche Marketing versus Concentrated Marketing
Jaap de Jonge, Innovation Consultant, Netherlands
Is there a difference between concentrated marketing and niche marketing? No, they are basically the same. Both marketing efforts are targeted to 1 specific market segment or audience.
Except perhaps that niches can be very small. A niche can be the best hamburger in a small village. While segments tend to be bigger. A typical segment is compact cars or high end digital cameras.
