Setting Up a Knowledge Management/Development Office
🔥 NEW Major, complex organizations can create a specific office for knowledge development to attract, pull, organize, stimulate and share knowledge and knowhow. Examples of Knowledge Management Offices
Many top international organizations have established a Knowledge Management and Development Office, such as the major consulting firms (McKinsey and Company, Boston Consulting Group, Bain and Company, Arthur D. Little; PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG), financial institutions and international development banks (BlackRock, International Monetary Fund, World Bank Group, African Development Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development), leading multinational corporations (Nestlé, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz Corporation AG, Rolls-Royce, Boeing, Airbus). The Knowledge Management and Development Office is articulated with the Capacity Development and Training Center and the Research Center.
These learning and innovating organizations will be better prepared to reduce and improve their investment costs and operating costs, transaction and logistic costs, financial and administrative costs.
