Main Barrier to Knowledge Sharing: The Fear of Being Replaced

In the professional arena, the fear of being replaced is one of the main barriers to knowledge sharing. Especially for people older than 40 or so.
A corporate strategy worth considering to confront this fear of workers to be replaced is to build an Excellence Center of the company. This institution would be populated with master champion knowledgists elected by the whole organization.
