Getting Traction in KM through Weekly Updates...
I made a very interesting observation over the past few weeks as I have been sending weekly updates to my stakeholders. Though I am still working on my governance model, and ways to build engagement I have started to communicate key performance measures such as knowledge linked to incidents, draft versus reviewed versus published articles and participation rates.
And already I am seeing a lift in activity in all of these areas. I think that by just making some key measures known and frequently communicating them, I have given the stakeholders encouragement to participate.
This in turn has given me evidence to feedback to them to help deliver the "why" and the results. A great result!
