How to Counter Cognitive Bias
One key issue with cognitive biases is: they are (mostly) unconscious. In other words, you normally don't even notice you have them. You are unaware they are guiding you, your actions and your decisions.
That also means that reading about them in books, articles, or even here - does very little to diminish or fight them.
Another key issue with behavior based on cognitive biases is that it is often ingrained.
So you should look for ways to actively and truly change the ingrained behaviors in the long run. Consider not-one-off trainings, coaching, practicing, role playing. And to fight certain biases at a higher organizational level, for example in an effort to become more inclusive, diverse as a company, you should combine the above things with a strategy, program and continuous learning effort.
