The Wheel of Life: Balance your Life

Life is not uni-dimensional; balance in life comes from fulfillment in all areas. If we overly focus on one or just a few areas of our life, these tend to to weigh heavily on our psyche and bring about feelings of guilt, discontent and stress. The Wheel of Life is a simple, yet versatile tool that helps you understand how balanced your life currently is and find areas that need more attention.

The Wheel of Life is a very popular coaching tool that helps you capture your current level of satisfaction in the different areas of your life. It provides a helicopter view of your life, indicating areas that are not in balance, and which might benefit from greater attention.
Completing your Wheel of Life and interpreting it can help you discover:
  • What a life of balance means for you.
  • Areas of your life, which are deeply important to you that you are currently neglecting.
  • Areas of your life, where you can reduce your current level of attention and energy - without reducing your sense of satisfaction/contentment.
  • Actions that you can take (and a couple of things that you can stop doing) to get a greater degree of balance in your life.
