The CEO as Leader Integrator

The emerging role of the chief executive is to become a leader integrator. Concept, process, and examples provided in The Leader of the Future 2 (Jossey-Bass, 2006), being practiced now in the U.S., UAE/GCC countries, and South Asian countries.
With the growing complexity, uncertainty, and necessity of sustainability, many methods of leadership have been rendered incomplete or even irrelevant.
As a result, bringing multiple perspectives, methods, concepts, and businesses together is becoming the most important task of leaders.
Additionally, the need to have teamwork within boards of directors, and among the C-suite executives - something that gets more lip service than true practice - needs to be revisited with The Leader Integrator perspective.
Series of exercises and case studies, mostly in North America, have confirmed the need and, leading pioneers using it are evidence of its implementation.
