Factors Causing Organizational Stability

Good question. Some factors you can think of that can be used to stabilize an organization are:
  • Strategy
  • Organization structure (org chart)
  • Technology (for example the ERP system)
  • Systems (management control systems)
  • Processes
  • Organizational (shared) values
  • Organization culture
  • Staff of the organization
  • Satisfaction among employees about current organization
  • Leadership
  • Top management
  • Middle management
  • Lower management
  • Laws and regulations
  • Government
  • Etc.
You could also mention the external environment, provided that it is stable (a rare phenomenon these days 😉).
