Are Organic Organizations More Effective then Mechanistic Organizations?

I think organic organizations are more likely to be effective than mechanistic ones.

In a way, the fact that this is the new trend is actually encouraging.
After all if you're secure in the knowledge that you will have a job, you can be a lot more proactive about making sure you're happy with it.
On the other hand, living your values can be an awfully small compensation for a period of protracted unemployment.
