Internal Environment in Burke-Litwin Model
Leodegardo M. Pruna, Professor, Philippines

The model is quite complicated but seemingly lack one of the other important element in individual and organizational performance - that of the internal environment which from all indication are the spider-mesh connected blocks.
The internal environment ends with "motivation" which I believe is very reasonable.
The external environment made up of regulatory, competitive, economic and socio-cultural elements should also weigh in the model and could be connected to the "motivation" block.
