Recommended Books on Communication
Sandip Pandya
I recommend the books below to be a good read to develop and improve communication skills for both technical and non-technical readers.
"If you peel the paint and see the base quickly; it is communication achieved". I was so touched by the writer of this line who is a technical person by qualification and the facilitator for the communication class for management courses in USA. His name is John Quesnel. Influenced by my experience undergoing this class under his able guidance, I recommend for these books.
1) Technical Communication by Sharon J. Gerson.

I recommend 'The Communication Problem Solver: Simple Tools and Techniques for Busy Managers' by Nannette Rundle Carroll.

The book 'Difficult Conversations: How to Discuss What Matters Most' (Stone, Patton, Heen) is providing tools to understand all traps we fall in while trying to communicate. They decipher the underlying structure of every difficult conversation, using practical example. It has been a very helpful tool in my coaching of clients.
