BCG Matrix and Continous Evaluation

Due to the highly dynamic environment in markets, the shelf life of any product or service is limited more by external factors than internal ones. Based on the above model, continuous evaluation of all products and services vs. the changing market scenarios leads to better understanding of dynamic changes that take place in the segmentation of products and services.

BCG Matrix Percentages

In fact there is no clear definition for the percentage uses in the model, it depends on your interpretation about what is high, for example, comparing the growth rate of the market that you are competing, the inflation rate, the GDP rate, and so on. If you are above these rates, you can say that is high enough for your analysis. I suggest you use some metrics regarding the sector involved.
