Tool to Analyze the Control Proces in a Maintenance Division: BSC or EFQM?

Balanced Scorecard or EFQM? Thats the question I'm dealing with. For my study I have to choose a methode of analysing the control proces in a maintenance division. Just to be clear, the company is a non profit organisation. Profit in this case must be seen as capacity or man hours.
When facing the question how to analyse the control (QDC) my first thoughts went out to BSC or EFQM. Just because I'm familiar with these two analyse methods.
My question is which of the methodes would you prefer. Both obviously have there advantages and disadvantages. Or would you choose another analysis method?

	EFQM or BSC? Use Both Dear Janssen, in my view BSC complements EFQM. Or BSC is one of the best tools for meeting certain requirements of EFQM. EFQM is a comprehensive model covering every aspect of business, whereas BSC is a tool for performance measurement and strategy deployment. In your case you may identify your gaps based on EFQM and develop a strategy for meeting this gap and deploy it using the BSC.
