Internal Audit Report to my Manager

🔥 As an auditor I report to my manager serious notices or problems in our company. In my reports I write both the problem and how I solved it.
The issue is that he refuses to include my notes in his report to the board of directors, saying it's not important (for example I discovered a mistake with $100,000). Everyone in our company knows he is a coward and to be fair the board of directors supports us a lot. What should I do?

	Opinion on Audit Trails I think in your case there exists a bad relationship between the manager and the auditor. As an internal auditor, it is your duty to vet all payments with their vouchers. So, the question is, where were you when there was an embezzlement or what you call a mistake of $100,000? If your authority was undermined, you have to stand firm to your authority. Be more principled and disciplined on your work. Please inform the board of directors about it. Thank you.
