Motivation as an Important Tool in Retention Strategy

A number of organisations are finding it difficult to retain key staff members today due to their inability to motivate them towards effective performance.
Where the motivation of employees is very effective, labour turnover is always very low as well as the cost associated with it.
To me, it is cheaper to embark on aggressive retention strategies rather than bearing the cost of high labour turnover.

How Attrition is Related to Employee Satisfaction and Remuneration
Dear Sir, now that I am reading the interesting matters on employee attrition here, I got the impression that employees never love the jobs, but instead they love the money.
How much they get from the organisation depends on the satisfaction level.
I conclude job satisfaction is directly related to retention of employees. And remuneration helps to increase job satisfaction.
