How can a Leader be Effective?
One good and seemingly simple answer to this question is: by creating resonance. Resonance comes from the Latin word resonare, meaning: "to resound". Effective leaders are attuned to other people's feelings and/or thoughts and are thus able to move them in the right / desired / effective direction.
Another way to answer this question is by saying: by adjusting their management style to the requirements of all circumstances at hand.
For some more information about creating resonance in certain circumstances and corresponding leadership styles, refer to the Leadership Styles knowledge center.
