Customer Classification Model

Dear all, I'm looking for a method to clasify our customers. I want to analyse them on financial stability, market sector, paying terms etc etc.
Is there any standard model/method for this?

Classification of Customers

There are of course standard methods, but they will only work for comparable standard questions or problems. To put it differently "a one size fits all approach' is not the best way to tackle this type of questions. However there are approaches or a methodology if you like that will lead to a successful classification/segmentation outcome.
