Using Voice-overs in Advertising - You or a Professional?

Voice overs can be used to launch new products or services, to outline the history or philosophy of your organisation, or to demonstrate how to use a product or service.
Voice over narrators can pronounce and recite your advertisements or promotional jingles for radio and TV and also they can be used to explain, instruct, or teach on in-house videos.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO USE A PROFESSIONAL VOICE OVER NARRATOR?
The answer is simple – because it's all about your brand image.
What does a professional offer and why should you insist on it?
  • EXPERIENCE – Professional broadcasters have years of experience and training. It will not be their first jingle, so they know how to give your product an authentic voice.
  • ACCOMMODATING AND AFFORDABLE – Remember it's not the actual recording which takes time, it's the mixing and overdubbing with music. Professionals work quickly and reliably and are skilled at taking directions.
  • PROFESSIONAL STUDIO – They might offer top quality equipment designed to enhance their voices and recording.
  • FAMILIARITY – By building a relationship with a person, you can give your brand a familiarity which has been proven to be quite effective in sales and marketing. Professional voices can also lead your customers to take action, for example by using an authoritative, serious tone, or one that reminds listeners of a trusted friend.
The prices of voice-overs vary considerably from project to project, so it's best to get at least 2 quotes and listen to samples of their work.
