What are Criteria for Selection of a Portfolio Management Method?

	          		🔥NEW Hi, I have seen many models and matrices for portfolio managment such as Drucker’s product classification (1963), BCG Growth-share Matrix followed by McKinsey/GE Market Attractiveness-Competitive Position Matrix (1970s), and A.D. Little Business Profile Matrix.

I am wondering whether the use of any of these tools is more appropriate than others in the case of mergers and acquisitions, where we face a portfolio with some redundant products.
