Applying the 7 S Framework. Implementation
I believe the 7's is very difficult to implement at the ORGANIZATION level. So if we would be able to implement the HARD S's i.e., Strategy, Structure and System that would be more then enough for a company to gain a competive advantage in the market.

Implementation of Just the Hard S's is no Option
I tend to disagree with Hammad. The key is to properly understand the framework. I believe any company that ignores the other three (soft) S's will not achieve significant stride.
In particular, even if a company has a brilliant strategy and great structures and systems, without adequately skilled, motivated Staff it will not succeed.

Implementation of 7S's has to be Complete
I agree with Bilkisu. Manytimes we tend to think that if structure, strategy, and systems are in place, then the organization will thrive. However, human beings, values, and behavior ultimately determine if the strategy will be executed successfully.
