6 C's of Digital Marketing Strategy

While framing the digital Marketing Strategy, ensure all of the following 6 C's are given appropriate attention:
  1. CONTENT: Content is king. It is the fuel that powers the digital world. Having great content can be a big plus for your digital presence.
  2. CHANNELS: The media/platforms through which you distribute your content. The company's own website is one channel, but also think of social media channels and many other paid channels like the banner ads on the other websites and mobile apps, Google ads, Facebook ads, etc.
  3. CAMPAIGNS: Campaigns are the action bridges between us and our audience. They help them navigate the Awareness, Interest, Desire, and Action stages of brand communication.
  4. COMMUNITIES: Communities today play a very important part in brand communications. Digital communities are the places where you can find your target audience in big numbers, and a wealth of data and information regarding the customer thoughts, behaviours and actions.
  5. COLLABORATORS: For a successful digital strategy, collaborating parties such as:
    - Tools (Google Analytics, Social listening),
    - Outreach partners (like content writers, ad agencies), and
    - B2B partners (technology owners, event/conference organizers)
    can be great facilitators of your digital media outreach.
  6. CASH: This is needed to turn your intent into action and realize your marketing strategy and to achieve the extensive reach that digital can provide today.
