from micro to macro management

Micro-management is an effective philosophy to start with as a leader if you want to be an effective macro manager. This is how to counter the crippling effect of staff turn-over.
The models of leadership style is not a tailor cut approach to become effective in a corporate arena. I see no exact model that will fit into a situation no matter how common the occurrences are. My point is that, micromanaging is an arm that keeps you alert on attending to the needs of the company as well as the need of the employee. The usual panicky situation in corporate setting is when unplanned situations happened and you have no one to depend on. Micro-managing give you an edge in subduing impending disaster or negative effect of forthcoming corporate scenario.
