from the 4 functions of management, now it has been improved into 7, which has now become Gulick's POSDCORB
I never knew that the 4 functions of management has been improved to POSDCORB. Now it interests me a lot since we are required to report Gulick's idea.
From the simple planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, it has now become planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting. I've read one comment about budgeting and why it is placed as the last function. Hmmm, my further reading and research will help me understand this better. Not only will it add leverage to my report, but will also complement my idea about the whole concept.
I am sure with the help of this site, i could be able to deliver my (our group's) report.
