Training and development are critical to organizational survival.


As the world change beforeour eyes with its technological advancement we cannot ignore the importance of training and development. These two words ought to be 'buzz words' on the job. The focus has to be on re-tooling , reshaping re-branding and re-positioning ourselved which will ultimately put our company in a better position to cope with the ever increasing challenges of managing people in organizations. Managers ought to increase their frequency of evaluation to 'zero in' on the weakness that exist or implement a MBWA (Management By Walking Around) strategy where they can spot weaknesses and strengths, and learn 'first hand' about problems they are encountering. The manager will then begin to formulate in his/ her mind ways of dealing with current issues, and suggest ways of improvement through training.
