Quality education deals with issues of relevance, validity, functionalism and efficiency of educational system in the achievement of national goals and objectives. Change management is fast becoming one of the competitive issues of the 21st century. Change is an unusually slippery concept, easy to visualize and yet very difficult to define. It remains a source of great confusion to managers, leading to impeded progress on several fronts. The concept of change management has been essentially a contested issue in higher education and there are competing voices and discourses on the concept.
