Things I have learned
Brenda Blackstock , Student (University), United States

Any body can become a leader if they are willing to learn.

Things that I have learned over time. First, I have learned that life will teach you "how to lead" if you allow it to. I have learned through the course of my struggles not to become bitter but allow the specific trial to impart knowlege and wisdom to me. In short--I learn from mistakes, my own and the mistakes of others. Second, I have learned to veiw mistakes as tempory set backs that gives an opprotunity to determind leaders to evolve, be proactive, excerise ones own ability to use damage control and treat others as they wish to be treating themselves. Third, I have learned that management is only one aspect of leadership--"All leaders are managers but not all mangers can lead."--Sorce Unknown Yes, I discovered that there is a big difference between the two. Finally, I believe that every strong leader should have a personal creed thats gets them through any difficult or tough situation. My personal motto for life's unexpected challenges is--"A hard place is a good place when it becomes a learning place." Brenda R. Blackstock
