cellular phones are bringing the users closer and closer to each others. Promotions plans must give sufficient space to this factor.

My company sells agricultural inputs like fertilizers, seeds and pesticides to farmers. these days the season is almost over and we are conducting a post season study on customer preferences. Target group is progressive growers. The best driver of words of moth is cellular phone. Farmers most delighted with the results of a product feel great to tell the results of products to fellow farmers. Such recommendations by the delighted user are given the highest level of importance compared to the recommendations of company representatives. In other words the recommendations of agriculture professional can make first time users but after use of products it is the endosement of the user on result/ performance of the used product which helps the market penetration index to work. So a research work is required specially in new markets or for new products for real evaluation of this important market dynamic.
