Vantagem de o competidor - PorterDe acordo com o modelo das vantagem de o competidor do Porter, das tomadas do competidor de uma estratégia ofensivas ou da ação defensiva para criar uma posição defendable em uma indústria, a fim lidar com sucesso com as forças do competidor e gerar Return on Investment superior. De acordo com o Porter de Michael, a base do performance acima-médio dentro de uma indústria é vantagem de o competidor sustainable.


2 tipos básicos de vantagem de o competidor

  1. Cost Leadership (custo baixo)
  2. Differentiation

Ambos podem ser aproximados mais amplamente ou estreitos, que resulta na terceira estratégia do competidor viable:

  1. Foco

Tipo 1 das vantagem de o competidor: Cost Leadership

  • Conseguir Cost Leadership significa que uma empresa se ajusta para fora para se transformar o produtor do custo baixo em sua indústria.
  • Um líder do custo deve conseguir a paridade ou pelo menos a proximidade nas bases do differentiation, mesmo que confie na liderança do custo para suas vantagem de o competidor.
  • Se mais de uma tentativa da companhia para conseguir Cost Leadership, este for geralmente desastrosa.
  • Conseguido frequentemente por economias de escala.

Tipo 2 das vantagem de o competidor: Differentiation

  • A realização do Differentiation significa que uma empresa procura ser original em sua indústria ao longo de algumas dimensões que são apreciadas extensamente por compradores.
  • Um diferenciador não pode ignorar sua posição do custo. Em todas as áreas que não afetam seu differentiation deve tentar diminuir o custo; na área do differentiation os custos devem pelo menos ser mais baixos do que o prêmio que do preço recebe dos compradores.
  • As áreas de differentiation podem ser: produto, distribuição, vendas, marketing, serviço, imagem, etc.

Tipo 3 das vantagem de o competidor: Foco

  • Conseguir o foco significa que uma empresa se ajusta para fora para ser a mais melhor em um segmento ou em um grupo dos segmentos.
  • 2 variants: Foco do custo e foco do Differentiation.

  • Esta é geralmente uma receita para a lucratividade abaixo-média comparada à indústria.
  • Ainda, os lucros atrativos são possíveis se e contanto que a indústria ao todo for muito atrativa.
  • Manifestation da falta da escolha.
  • Especial perigoso para Focusers que foi bem sucedido, e comece então negligenciar seu foco. Devem procurar outros niches do foco. Comprometa Rather então sua estratégia do foco.

  • Na parte I, o Porter discute a análise estrutural das indústrias (com as cinco forças), das três estratégias do competidor genéricos (Cost Leadership total, do foco, e do Differentiation), oferecendo um framework excelente para a análise do concorrente, movimentos do competidor, estratégia para compradores e fornecedores, análise estrutural dentro das indústrias (grupos estratégicos, traçar estratégico, barreiras da mobilidade), e da evolução da indústria (ciclo de vida, processos evolucionários).
  • Na parte II, o Porter discute a estratégia do competidor dentro das várias circunstâncias genéricos da indústria. Como: indústrias fragmentadas (com nenhum líder de mercado real), indústrias emergentes, indústrias maduras, indústrias declinando, e indústrias globais.
  • Na parte III, o Porter discute as decisões estratégicas de que os negócios/empresa podem fazer exame. Como: integração vertical (para diante, inverso, parcerias), expansão da capacidade, e entrada em indústrias/negócios novos.
