Avkastningsvärde Vad är avkastningsvärde? Definition

Det är en traditionell värderingsmetod (ofta för ett projekt) som används i Nuvärdes (Discounted cash Flow) mätningsmetoden, där följande steg sker:


Stegen i beräkningen av avkastningsvärdet

  1. Beräkning av förväntat fritt kassaflöde (ofta per år) resultatet från investeringen
  2. Subtrahera/dra av för avkastningsräntan (en räntesats som ska justeras för tid och risk)

Det mellanliggande resultatet kallas: Kapitalvärde/Nuvärdet (diskonterat).

  1. Subtrahera de initiala investeringarna

Slutresultatet kallas: Net Present Value/ Avkastningsvärde.


Därför att NPV är ett belopp som uttrycker hur mycket värde en investering kommer att resultera i. Detta görs, genom att mäta alla betalningsflöden över tiden och föra dem tillbaka till nuläget i nutid.


Om NPV-metoden resulterar i ett positivt belopp, bör projektet genomföras.


Begränsningar med avkastningsvärde/ Net Present Value

  • Även om NPV-mätningen är allmänt använd för att ta investeringsbeslut, så är det en nackdel med NPV att den inte tar med i beräkningen den flexibilitet/osäkerhet som uppkommer efter projektbeslutet. Se Reala Optioner Luehrman för mer information.
  • NPV är också oförmögen att hantera immateriella vinster. Denna oförmåga minskar dess användbarhet för strategiska frågeställningar och projekt. Se Värdering och Mäta Intellektuellt Kapital, IC Rating för mer information.
