Social powerProzesse der Macht sind durchdringend, komplex, und häufig verdeckt in unserer Gesellschaft. The Sozialen Machtbasen von French und Raven ist eine Theorie, die fünf (sechs) Grundlagen oder Quellen von sozialerl (organisatorischer) Macht identifiziert:

  1. Macht der Belohnung. Diese Form basiert auf der wahrgenommenen Fähigkeit positive Konsequenzen zu geben oder negative zu entfernen.

  2. Zwingende Macht. Dieses ist die wahrgenommene Fähigkeit, diejenigen zu bestrafen, die sich nicht Ihren Ideen oder Anforderungen anpassen.

  3. Legitime Macht (organisatorische Berechtigung). Diese Form basiert auf der Vorstellung, dass jemand das Recht hat, Verhalten, aufgrund einer Wahl oder Berufung in eine Position der Verantwortlichkeit, vorzuschreiben. Auch normative Macht genannt. Vergleichen Sie: Organigramm (Organisationsplan).

  4. Referenzmacht. Dieses ist Macht durch Verbindung mit anderen, die Kraft besitzen.

  5. Sachverständigen-Macht. Diese Art basiert auf dem Besitz von unterscheidendem Wissen, Expertise, Begabung oder Fähigkeiten.

  6. Ähnlich wie 5: Informationsmacht. Diese Form basiert auf dem Steuern der Informationen, die durch andere benötigt werden, um ein wichtiges Ziel zu erreichen.

Die Five Sozialen Machtbasen Theorie basiert auf der Annahme, dass Macht und Einfluss Beziehungen zwischen mindestens zwei Vertretern einschliessen. Die Theorie argumentiert, dass die Reaktion des Empfängers der nützlichere Fokus für das Erklären der Phänomene des sozialen Einflusses und der Macht ist.


French und Raven begutachteten den Effekt der Macht, der von den verschiedenen Grundlagen der Anziehung und des Widerstandes zum Gebrauch von Macht abgeleitet wurde. Anziehung und Widerstand sind die Gefühle des Empfängers gegenüber dem Vertreter, der Macht verwendet. Sie folgern, dass der Gebrauch von Macht auf den verschiedenen Grundlagen unterschiedliche Konsequenzen hat.

Zum Beispiel verringert zwingende Macht gewöhnlich die Anziehung und verursacht hohen Widerstand. Während die Macht der Belohnung die Anziehung erhöht und minimale Niveaus des Widerstandes schafft.


French und Raven stellten auch fest, dass „je legitimer der Zwang [wahrgenommen wird], desto weniger wird Widerstand und verringerte Aufmerksamkeit hervorgerufen“.
