Nivå 5 Ledarskap - Collins Vad är nivå 5 Ledarskapet? Beskrivning

Nivå 5 Ledarskap baseras på idén om respekt för människor, osjälviskhet från ledaren och ett starkt kraftfullt engagemang att uppnå resultat, tar fram det bästa hos de underställda. Nivå 5 Ledare är en paradoxal blandning av kraftfull vilja och personlig ödmjukhet. De är envisa och hänsynslösa. Även om de är ödmjuka. De är framåt för sitt företag och tillåter knappast att deras ego skulle kunna bli ett hinder för framgången av deras organisation. Fastän de utför enastående saker för deras organisationer, så tillskriver de anmärkningsvärt prestationerna till deras personal, yttre faktorer och blotta turen. Nivå 5 Ledare, leder med hjälp av disciplinerade personer, disciplinerad tanke och handling.
 

Ursprunget till nivå 5 Ledarskapet. Historia

Nivå 5 Ledarskapsteorin utvecklades självständigt. Den ”upptäcktes” av Collins och hans forskare i företagen som hade en hög - nivå av tillväxt över femton år i rad. Jämför: Betjänanande Ledarskap

De rätta personerna (Kulturen, Karaktär snarare än kompetens) + Ödmjukhet + en Stark professionell vilja (vad gäller  målet) = Framgång.


Användningen av nivå 5 ledarskapet Användningsområden

Denna metod fungerar som synes varje gång som den har prövats. Den handlar mer om karaktär än kompetens. En hög kompetens är inte ett absolut krav för att lyckas, men vad gäller karaktärer är detta inte förhandlingsbart.


Stegen i nivå 5 Ledarskapet. Process

  1. Anställ de rätta personerna.
  2. Placera dem i jobben som de är ”ämnade” för att göra.
  3. Sätt upp ett högt långsiktigt mål. (BHAG).

Begränsningar med nivå 5 Ledarskapet. Nackdelar

  • Det kräver mycket tid och personlig investering av ledaren.
  • Ledaren får inte motta ett personligt erkännande.

Denna ledarskapsmetodologi är framträdande och den har fram tills nu inte diskuterats i större omfattning. Men det verkar vara en förnuftig och stark metodologi.
