Talent Management versus Knowledge Management
Emmanuel Guobadia, HR Consultant, Nigeria

Talent and Knowledge Management are similar but mistakenly taken as the same by some HR Practitioners.
Talent Management is a systematic process of managing the career path of employees of an organisation in accordance with the succession plan, mission, and vision of an organisation.
Knowledge Management is a process of making use of the knowledge of staff to impact on others, to relearn and unlearn thereby adding value to the overall success of the organisation. It's also influenced by the culture of an organisation.
